Happy Father's Day!

We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend. Josh was on-call, but didn't get called in once for the first time in months!

Lily and Josh had a special father/daughter date Friday night. They started at Monkey Joes, pigged out on pizza and cinnamon bread and finished the night at Target to pick up some milk and a new toy fire truck.

Saturday morning Lily helped me make crepes from breakfast. After breakfast, they headed to the gym for a quick workout, then off the the pool for some fun. I got lots done around the house and picked up Chick-fil-a to take down to them at the clubhouse. After nap, we all headed to the mall for some shopping and dinner.

Lily surprised Josh with his Father's Day gifts early Sunday morning. She made him a beautiful arrangement of construction paper hand cutouts that she spent lots of time coloring and decorating with her favorite Dora stickers. I put together a DVD full of pictures of Lily and Josh throughout the past two years.  They've had lots of fun times together!  We also picked up a special treat, Krispy Kreme! Then we headed out to see Toy Story 3. It was such a great movie and Lily actually made it through the whole thing!

It was a great weekend full of wonderful memories!
