Easter Cookies

We had a nice Sunday despite that fact that Lily and I are both getting over a nasty cold. Josh got called into work around 7am, but was done just in time to meet us for lunch at Chipotle. After lunch we went to Publix and got groceries for the week (so excited I don't have to go by myself today, it's been wearing me out this pregnancy!!).

Lily took a great nap, so Josh and I were able to watch The Hurt Locker. After nap time, Lily started on her Easter cookies. We had them baked and cooling during dinner and bath time.
Speaking of dinner...I made Feta Chicken with Curried Rice last night from my friend's blog, The Pearce's Kitchen. I accidentally got fat free feta (gross), but it was still delicious - try it!

Lily was really into the decorating until she realized she could eat the cookies and icing. That quickly became her focus and Josh ended up finish most of the decorating! The princess nightie didn't make it to bed time. Lily has been very particular about what she wears to bed these days. She definitely prefers her little nightie dresses to anything the least bit confining. I guess I don't blame her. I think it's a combination of the characters on the front and the need for comfort while she sleeps :) Luckily her Dora nightie dress was clean...that was a close one!

We had lots of fun dying Easter eggs with Lily last week.  She did great, but when she would finish an egg she would toss it onto the counter...needless to say, some eggs didn't make it in the long run!

Fun in FLORIDA!!!

Once we got past that horrible stomach bug...Lily and I had so much fun visiting my family in Florida for the week!  Lots of family time, a night out with the girls, a trip to Sea World with Preston, a little shopping, dancing on the square in The Villages and lots and lots of eating out!
