Christmas Morning

Christmas was so much fun this year.  All the magic and excitement I felt as a little girl was back.  I couldn't sleep the night before because I was so excited.  I got up at 4am, made a cup of coffee and snuggled up by the tree to watch A Christmas Story.  I was surrounded by Santa's gifts with a fire in the fireplace patiently waiting for my girls to wake up...it was one of those perfect moments. 

They were finally ready to come downstairs around 7am.  I don't think Lily really got the awesomeness of Christmas morning before this moment.  I'm pretty sure she's got it now, and she'll probably be up with me at 4am next year!
