Lily and I went to see The Nutcracker last Friday night. I was a little worried because the show started at 7:30 and Lily usually goes to bed around 8. I tried to be totally prepared with a purse full of goldfish and pretzels...and it worked, she did great! We made it through to intermission and decided not to press our luck with the second half.
I just love experiencing all the things I used to love with my daughter.

ReplyDeleteI have a sweet wooden rocker that was your grandfather's when he was a toddler. I usually put a poinsettia in it for Christmas.
I think you are going to love a gas cooktop. I really prefer cooking with gas. It's so easy to control. I'm not a fan of glass cooktops. To me, they don't look like something one would cook on. However, I do prefer an electric oven for more even heat.
