Lily has two responsibilities at the house that she takes great pride in doing everyday, feeding fishy and watering her flowers. Today while she was watering I decided to snap a few pics. I foolishly asked her to "smell the flower" and, of course, she pulled it right off! My fault! But now we can enjoy it in a small vase in the kitchen and I was able to get a couple pretty cute pics...

Ice Cream Clean-up!
Last night Lily had a 4th of July treat after dinner, some homemade cake batter ice cream. She made a big mess, so we took her out back and let Peyt and Cole (well mostly Peyt) clean her up :)

Lexington County Peach Festival
Yesterday we went to the Lexington County Peach Festival in Gilbert, SC. It was a much bigger deal than we were expecting it to be. As we were driving into Gilbert, Josh and I were commenting on how there wasn't a car, or person for that matter, anywhere in sight. Well, when we arrived at the Festival we knew why...EVERYONE was there!
We had to park about a half a mile away and I was sure I was going to go into labor on the uphill walk there. But I didn't, and we had such a great time. There were tons and tons of booths set up offering everything from homemade children's clothing to organic honey. Lily got her face painted for the first time and really enjoyed all the carnival games. They also had live music and several local performers to watch while you pigged out on peach smoothies, hot dogs and peach ice cream. Thankfully, the trek back to the car was down hill and not nearly as exhausting for me!

Speical time with my girl!
Lately I've started to get a little sad about my time with only Lily quickly coming to an end. I know that seems silly because neither of us is going anywhere, but for some reason I can't seem to get it out of my head. I've been trying to spend lots of quality time with her doing fun things that make her feel special.
Last Thursday we spend the morning at the mall shopping, making a build-a-bear leopard Lily has named "Kitty", riding the carousel and having lunch together. It was lots of fun and I'm going to make she we still have these times together, just the two of us, after her baby sister is here!
